  • The Serve

    • Underhand serve, paddle below waist.
    • Serve diagonally, landing in the opposite service box.
    • Only one serve attempt (except in case of a let—ball touching the net and landing correctly).
    • In doubles, both players serve before the serve switches to the opposing team (except at the start, where only one player serves).
  • Scoring System

    • Only the serving team can score points.
    • Games are played to 11 points, win by 2.
    • Some competitive matches go up to 15 or 21 points.
